Biography

Matt Conway is a third-year PhD student co-advised by Dr. Kristan Worthington and Dr. Edward Sander. He has a BSE in biomedical engineering with a minor in chemistry from the University of Iowa. His research areas involve investigating cell-material interactions working with rotating wall vessel (RWV) bioreactors to simulate microgravity and utilizing atomic force microscopy (AFM) for mechanical characterization of various biomaterials.

Outside of the lab, Matt loves watching Iowa Hawkeye games, golfing, hiking, and hanging out with his dog.
