Biography

Jacob Cannon is an undergraduate biomedical engineering student working in the Worthington Lab. Jacob’s research areas include the discovery and characterization of Bio-sourced photoinitiator systems (Bio-PhInS), investigating the tuning of hydrogel stiffness, and how these can be combined to model disease progression.

Outside of the lab, Jacob enjoys spending time outdoors doing activities such as rock climbing, skiing, backpacking, surfing, biking, swimming, and canoeing. Additionally, he enjoys singing and making things, including 3D printing, woodworking, and construction.
