Biography
Matt Conway is a fifth-year PhD student co-advised by Dr. Kristan Worthington and Dr. Edward Sander. He has a BSE in biomedical engineering with a minor in chemistry from the University of Iowa. His research areas involve investigating cellular and mechanical adaptations to microgravity, utilizing atomic force microscopy (AFM) for mechanical characterization to enhance in-space biomanufacturing techniques.
Outside of the lab, Matt enjoys watching Iowa Hawkeye games, golfing, and hanging out with his dog.
