Brittany Allen worked as a graduate research assistant in the Worthington Lab. She studied the influence of substrate biochemistry on retinal cell differentiation. Allen also worked on a conditionally immortalized retinal progenitor cell line and improved corneal endothelial cell transplants in collaboration with the University of Iowa Ophthalmology Department. 

Outside of the lab, Brittany takes golf lessons and enjoys cooking, skiing, and hiking.
