Hailey is a PhD student in biomedical engineering within Dr. Kristan Worthington’s lab. She earned her BSE and MS in biomedical engineering from the University of Iowa. Hailey’s research revolves around characterizing bio-sourced photoinitiators’ utility in light-based 3D-printing and evaluating how printing parameters can be exploited to precisely control material properties.

Outside of the lab, Hailey enjoys painting, drawing, baking, and hanging out with her dog.
